Suzanne Gose had no plans to become a homeschool mom. The public school Spanish & Public Speaking teacher totally bought into the education system & thought she would be able to save it from the inside out. Not to mention those homeschoolers were weird! After her first child was born she decided to stay home with him until he was school aged. When she got kinda bored with only tending to one child, she posted an offer to YahooGroups (remember that!) for Spanish tutoring. She was overwhelmed with the response to her offer, and soon she was tutoring a class full of homeschool kids in Spanish. Surprisingly these kids were much more engaged & interested than were their counterparts in high school, and slowly Suzanne’s opinions started changing toward home education. Now 19 years later she has homeschool all of 5 of her kids, and she has a successful home Spanish curriculum that is suitable for all ages.
